Notes The notes, while excellent in both Bibles, are different in tone. Both Bibles contain a Harmony of
the Gospels, something I find really helpful. Since its publication in 2001, the ESV has gained wide
acceptance among numerous denominations, churches, and ministries and is consistently among the most widely
distributed Bibles in North America and worldwide. In addition to the many Crossway editions, the ESV Bible
is also published in partnership with Oxford Bibles, Cambridge Bibles, HarperCollins UK, and through the
network of 130 Bible Societies around the world. I enthusiastically recommend it to students, pastors, and
any Christians who want to understand their Bibles better. I've appreciated some study Bibles before, but
the ESVB is in a different league. This will be one of the finest study Bibles ever.
