Cleaning Laminate Floors
The top layer of laminate flooring is a hard melamine wear layer over a layer
of printed paper it is very durable and very easy to clean. The flooring is made
by using three or more layers of fiberboard impregnated with resins and
waterproofing chemicals for strength and the resistance to water damage and
staining. Laminate floors are typically installed in kitchens, which means they
will be walked on a lot and littered with all kinds of crud. Before you buy a
flooring cleaning product you should learn about how you are supposed to care
for your laminate floor.

are a few recommendations. Laminate floors do not require any type of wax and
will not look any better if you use one. Cleaning, if carried out regularly, can
keep your floor looking like new for many years to come. I have tried some of
the floor cleaning products, but none work as well as the vinegar and water. For
spot cleaning I use a wet Magic Eraser. I think I found the perfect solution for
getting a shine on your laminate floors, I went to Walmart and bought a cloth in
the car department, it's for cleaning your car without water.
To make laminate floor cleaner, mix 1/3 white vinegar, 1/3 rubbing alcohol, 1/3
water, and 3 drops dishwashing liquid for a quart total. For best results, wipe
off quickly.
